WOOD SELECTION: Most topline shuffleboard tables use maple as the wood of choice for the playfields. Our playfields are made from German Beech. Why? Compared to Hard Maple, German Beech is:
- 19% more shock resistant
- 11% stiffer
- 4% stronger
- 10% more uniform in color
- Cleaner growth, which means we can use longer staves in our playfields. Longer staves mean fewer joints, creating a more uniform and stronger board.
- More attractive in appearance, with beautiful depth and chatoyance.
- FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified sustainable.
WELL TAILORED: We line the cradle interior with microfiber upholstery to promote easy cleaning, prolonged durability and a finely tailored appearance.
LUXURIOUS FEEL: Our shuffleboard tables feature end collars that are padded and upholstered for a higher-end, more designed look and feel.
DURABLE: Our shuffleboard tables use a slow curing, poured polymer finish on the playfield that will not need resurfacing.
